For a product catalog like this, I’d keep the UI fairly simple: category navigation, a responsive product grid, optimized product images, and clear inquiry/contact actions.
For image-heavy catalogs, WebP/AVIF, responsive image sizes, lazy loading, and avoiding unnecessarily large source images can make a big difference to load times. For responsive layouts, a CSS Grid/Flexbox approach with a mobile-first design usually works well across desktop and mobile.
If you’re building the catalog as a separate commerce site rather than specifically with IntraWeb, Shopify can also be worth considering because it provides a lot of the catalog, product, and responsive storefront functionality out of the box. Working with Shopify development company can solve this problem as well.
For an IntraWeb/Delphi implementation specifically, I’d be interested to hear what component set others here recommend for product grids and responsive galleries.
