Cannot find submit component.

Howdy All!

I am trying to stress test my mobile IW app as some of my customers that have a lot of mobile sessions start having issues after a while.

For compatibility reasons, I am still using IW 14.2.7.

Any how, after 10 to 15 minutes of stress loading (plenty of memory), I start getting the 'Cannot find submit button' exception with a stack trace of

Any ideas to find out what is causing this and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance,

Shane

Howdy All!

Ok ... I found this problem was being caused in WAPT when an error occurred that wasn't expected.

Thanks,

Shane

Hi Shane,

WAPT is the test software, I believe...?

IW 14.2.8 raises a specific exception type for this error, which is EIWSubmitException. This error message also contains the name of the submitted component.

We included this piece of information because we found out that several 3rd party tools (penetration test and stress test tools) were simply generating wrong requests (i.e. containing invalid control names) which forces IW server to reject it completely (raising the exception).

Kind regards

Howdy Alexandre!

Thanks for the response.

I figured that out after hours of trying to stress test my IW App!

All the best,

Shane
