IWRegion and IWTabControl css property

I work in the maintenance of a fairly large but very old application, it works great and I try to update it by adding css styles but it makes it difficult for me that the IWRegion and IWTabControl components do not have a CSS property. At the moment I cannot use templates due to a matter of time, I only need to share the same styles by file for several IWRegion and IWTabControl. Will it be possible to create the CSS property in these components? Is there an impediment to that?, thanks
