In the latest version I5.2.27 the TIWEdit control is disabled in the tool pallet for the 64 bit platform but enabled in the 32 bit. What is the reason please?

I think the reason is that the IDE is 32 bit.
I will ask Alexandre to check this. It should be usable in both 32 and 64 bit.
This has already been fixed in our code base. It will work just fine in x64 though. As a workaround until we release the update, please keep your project as x86 while developing.
