There is no easy answer here. The concept of default button doesn't exist in a web page. The default action when hitting ENTER has always been a submit of the page, regardless of the controls on that page (maybe the page doesn't even have a button).

 

The closest thing you can do is setting the active control of the form (it makes the control the focused one) and handle the submit of the form (via OnDefaultAction event handler)
