Sorry that this is not the \answer\ that you want to hear. But in general, these kind of errors are caused by some bug which cause memory corruption and such. Try to reproduce it inside the IDE. A crash like that is usually preceded by some exception (AV, invalid pointer operation, etc).
FastMM in FullDebugMode is also helpful to find some errors which cause memory corruption
