Jose it sounds stupid on my side but in Delphi DbGrid there is OndrawCell event and inside with the column name you may manipulate the value. However in IWDBGrid I have OnRenderCell that has ACell; how can I pickup the column of the dataset that I want to format to currency?

off the top of my head, DBGrid.CurrentDataField - Check our demos Im quite sure there are DBGrid demos that show extending and formatting.

you can also set formatting on the TField of your dataset and then you dont need to mess with it in code.
