I asked Alexandre to respond, but the design time painting has to do with paint handlers. You need to register a paint handler for your new class. You can just use the same one that your ancestor class uses.

as I see, i´m calling the correct scriptevens add method, but in designtime i keep getting -1 index trying to obtain the script index, passing the eventname as parameter

removing script events I dont think is supported \as is\. you'd likely have to implement that yourself and that is not easy as JS does not support unloading code. Even if you unload the JS file, the code remains in the browser. You have to manually remove any references to the code and let it clean it up. 17 does it and its a real mess to do.

you can emit scripts inline a control too which might be easier in your case. if its only for an event and never referenced in other code you can remove the even reference.
