It doesn't work. I seems I have wasted 399 euros
2018-12-14T12:28:06
Can you stop wtih the hyperbole please?
2018-12-14T12:28:38
1) Do you need to run on port 80?
2) Did you run netstat -abn as I asked?
2018-12-14T12:30:19
Ive got news for you, this is not an IW problem. ANY web app you try to deploy will have the same issue. Its like saying Notepad is broken because it wont let you rename a file to readme.txt becauase one already exists by that name.
2018-12-14T12:30:53
SOMETHING is using port 80. Until you resolve that, NOTHING. IntraWeb or not can use it.
2018-12-14T12:32:44
I now set port 8888 for IW app
2018-12-14T12:32:51
can you please copy it as text instead of an image please? You can pipe it to a file for easier use.
2018-12-14T12:33:03
and 8888 works? 8888 is a commonly used port as well.
2018-12-14T12:33:16
What method are you using to deploy? SA exe?
2018-12-14T12:33:30
run netstat as admin
2018-12-14T12:33:36
ie run cmd as admin
2018-12-14T12:33:38
then run
2018-12-14T12:33:42
it doesn't. As you said, it's the default port, the one I used at the very beginning.
2018-12-14T12:33:44
netstat -abn >ports.txt
2018-12-14T12:34:19
8888 is commonly used by skype etc too. You either need to use a free port, or free a port up. It depends on your needs. Are you just testing or deploying?\\
2018-12-14T12:34:35
if you run that command as admin, then send ports.txt
2018-12-14T12:36:13
did you start the console as admin? It shouldnt be showing this if you ran it as admin:
Impossible d'obtenir les informations de propri‚taire
2018-12-14T12:36:22
That is why I need you to run console as admin before running netstat
2018-12-14T12:44:03
Are you still here? Do you need assistance in launching console as admin?
2018-12-14T12:45:45
tell me
2018-12-14T12:46:32
type: link https://www.howtogeek.com/194041/how-to-open-the-command-prompt-as-administrator-in-windows-8.1/
Do this first. Then from this window issue:
netstat -abn >ports.txt
2018-12-14T12:49:36
Second - are you trying to deploy as production or just as a test?
2018-12-14T12:51:05
today it is just a test
2018-12-14T12:52:12
If its just a test, you can set the port to 0. Then IW will choose a free port for you but you will have to use the EXE to see what port it is using.
Or, pick a port that is likey not to be used. Try 9999, that is free according to your ports.txt
2018-12-14T12:52:43
since you are still testing, use standalone exe (not service) as it has debug info to help you.
2018-12-14T12:53:08
it is a standalone exe
2018-12-14T12:54:24
do this then
2018-12-14T12:54:28
set port to 0 in servercontroller
2018-12-14T12:54:37
run it, in the window it will show you what port it used.
2018-12-14T12:54:39
I do need to add the port number after the URL name, don't I
2018-12-14T12:54:42
then use that port in the url.
2018-12-14T12:54:43
yes
2018-12-14T12:54:51
for testing you can just push the browser button on SA
2018-12-14T12:54:53
it will do it for you.
2018-12-14T12:55:03
press Chrome or press F9 for default browser
2018-12-14T12:55:24
to test from a remote machine, take that URL and just change the IP to the external IP instead of type: link 127.0.0.1
2018-12-14T12:55:41
For real deployments, 80 is best. But for testing, it doesnt matter.
