Has anyone been able to shell out to run an EXE from within an Intraweb application? I'm trying to use Shell() from the ShellAPI unit.

permissions, and if you are in a service there is no shell. Use CreateProcess instead.

Shell exists only for SA non service.

I'll look up the CreateProcess and see if I can use that.

When using CreateProcess(), if the EXE I am calling is in the same folder as the IW EXE, do I need to still specify the 3rd to last parameter identifying the path or can I send it a nil? I'm getting an access violation error at runtime. It compiles just fine. The error occurs on the CreateProcess line itself.
