When I started to learn Dart,Polymer would be used to do the UI,and I would be able to write the backend in Dart,the most advenced thing in the world they say.

After six months,they changed their mind and say,now you´ll have to write the UI in Angular, and they´re just dumping the server side trough abandonware.

We chose TypeScript as a practical matter. Since its a superset rather than a crosscompile, it integrates with JS better than Dart, Elm etc..

Today people expect unit testing to find all bugs like magic,they don´t test if a register were correctly written in the database,but rather if THE TEXT X=X+0 works,this leads to things like Chrome the Browser and firemonkey.
