I'd like to see your first test result with a disabled browser cache (easy to disable it from dev tools). Then we would have a better idea what is going on. You are probably using 50 different JS files. That's kind of *A LOT*

Some browsers only download 2 or 3 files at a time from the same domain. That's why also using different domains in general helps (I don't like that idea, unless it is really necessary)
