Last year I was asked to assist a friend who lives nearby with a project he had developed in Access. He used it himself but wanted to get it online for users to access himself. When I say he used it for himself - he had a business around it and took the inputs from customers, then used the app he built plus some manual steps to then provide the results back to the customers.
Its a SEO type tool, but not the usual one that helps you optimize keywords on your website but instead it works against Google Ad words etc and helps you refine your campaign by helping you to remove words that attract impressions to the wrong crowd (ie not who you are targeting) and improve the words you use in your ad campaigns. There are a few services out there that do this type of thing but most offer only minimal functionality online and their business models are all about upselling you consulting services etc... This one also has an approach that is fairly unique and I've only found one service that is even remotely similar in its approach.
Sadly my friend died unexpectedly in August of this year and the project was already well into development and has an investor. Its written in IntraWeb and the investor has chosen to continue to fund the project and a % is planned to go to the original persons family as the investor was a mutual friend as well.
What is needed now are 1-2 beta testers who have active google (or other site) ad words campaigns and can provide feedback using such relevant experience. We don't need people to simply test the system itself, that much the developer who is working on it can do himself.
If you are working with ad word campaigns or know someone who is, we really need to find a few core testers to provide some feedback.
