Each ID printer typically has its own specification. Some act like normal printers with just special paper dimensions, others have specific APIs.

À part from Fast Report, do you advise any other package? Also could you point to a best way to use Fast Report in IntraWeb? Also as the general rule, would the use of colors and many Regions slow loading IntraWeb app?

Colors wont have any noticeable effect on speed. Regions will have a small impact but generally not noticeable in the total.
I cant speak about the best reporting package, maybe others can. I know FR is popular with IW.
