Editions

IWS comes in 2 different flavors. They differ in the way how the repository is implemented. See the Architecture Overview for more details.

Single User Editions

The free Personal edition and the more advanced Professional Editions are not client server based, thus they do not need an external repository server to be installed. They use an embedded FireBird DBMS server instead. They are intended for single users, but they still offer all other features of IntraWeb Studio.

Multiple User Editions

Download IntraWeb Studio Personal run the setup. No additional setup is needed - you are ready to start your first project.

Notes:
IntraWeb Studio is completely based on .NET. You will need the .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed. It is a free download from http://www.microsoft.com/netframework
