Layout
IntraWeb Studio provides two different layout modes for the project's structure.
Hierarchy LayoutBy default the folder structure of a project/website is displayed in a hierarchy view. This makes it easy to navigate to the document youwant to edit, add or remove. It also helps you to create a consistent navigation for the users of your website: The hierarchy may be visualized using breadcrumbs or iterators.
Flat LayoutAlternatively you can switch to a flat view. This is very useful when you want to see all files/documents of the current project at a time. This view is sortable by all colums available in the file list.
Example 1When you close IntraWeb Studio, you may get a message, that you still have documents locked, but you can not remember what files that might be. Switch to flat view and sort by "Locked by". Example 2You get an e-mail saying, that the document RevenueOverview2003.html has a type which needs fixed. But that e-mail did not mention the full URL, and you don't know what folder this document is located in. Switch to flat view and sort by name or title. |
