What's New - IntraWeb 7.0

This is a overview of the major features that are new to IntraWeb 7.0. IntraWeb 7.0 like its predecessors is a major jump forward in technology and provides for many new exciting and powerful features.

IntraWeb 7.0 is a free upgrade for subscribers who are current at release date of each release. It is not a free upgrade to users of the Delphi 7 bundled version.

WAP

IntraWeb 7.0 introduces support for mobile phones that work with either WAP 1 or WAP 2. For more information on WAP, please see Why WAP?

Visual UserSession

Now you can design your user session object visually. There is no need to separate the UserSession object from the DataModule anymore!

Optimization

IntraWeb 7.0 has many optimizations in the JavaScript and other areas and thus provides faster response and access times.

Form Locking

Tired of users clicking on a link twice while the page loads? IntraWeb 7.0 now allows you to lock a form until it is completely loaded. You can even lock a form while it is being submitted!

Individual Session Timeout

With version 7, you can set individual timeout per session. For more information see the Migration Guide in the manual.
