I have received a key. What do I do now?

When you installed IntraWeb, a program was created for you in the Start menu where you installed IntraWeb, called "IW Registration" or similar. Run this and it will prompt you for the license. Then copy/paste the license(s) into the boxes that are available. This will generate a IWLicenseKey.* file for you (depending on whether you are using BCB, Delphi or Visual Studio the extension will differ).

 I have installed my license key, but my applications are still running in evaluation mode? How can I fix this?

Please check the following items:

1. NEVER post your key in the support forums for testing.
2. Check the key type. If you need a different style of key, please see the download page for instructions on how to a different style key.
   1. 0101 - Only valid with 5.0.47 and earlier.
   2. +006 - Valid for 5.0, but only 5.0.48 and newer.
   3. +007 - Valid for 5.1 and higher.
3. If you have Delphi 7 Professional, but have not bought IntraWeb separately, please see Delphi 7 Q & A
4. Check your subscription expiration date. Builds released after this date will not recognize your key. More information.

If you have the proper key type, and you are using Delphi 7 Enteprise or you have your own license for IntraWeb see the instructions below.

1. Search your system for IWLicenseKey.*. Delete all versions of these files.
2. Use the LicenseKey utility and reenter your key.
3. Load the Guess demo and force a build all.
4. Run and check the debug window to see if the key has been installed properly.
5. Make sure that you are not using third party evaluation components such as TMS evaluation or Arcana evaluation.

 I get an error when installing my license key

License keys are sent in email to customers. It is very hard to make sure the email comes through without being "reformatted" in some way. Some mail programmers wrap the license keys, others insert lines, etc.

Please make sure that when you copy/paste your license key to the registration application, that there are no blank lines or wrapped words (in the case of .NET license).
