This FAQ includes questions and answers related to the Borland Developer
Studio 2006 IntraWeb bundled version. If you have purchased a separate IntraWeb
license, these questions and answers DO NOT apply.
Where are the wizards to create a new Intraweb project in C++ Builder
personality?
The version that ships with Borland Developer Studio 2006 does support C++
Builder, however, due to an issue with other personalities, the C++ wizards
were not active when BDS 2006 went to RTM. This will be addressed in
the first Update Pack 1 which Borland will release in December.
I own a purchased IntraWeb license, will I receive the update to BDS
2006 for free?
IntraWeb is sold on an upgrade and support and maintenance basis. All users
whose terms are current will receive an update of IntraWeb for BDS
2006 free of charge. Please see the download page

What upgrades will I receive?
BDS 2006 ships with IntraWeb 8.0 and users have a bundled IntraWeb
license.BDS 2006 users do not have a subscription
(software assurance) as registered IntraWeb users do. BDS 2006 users can

Is the full version of IntraWeb included in BDS 2006?
Is the IntraWeb in BDS 2006 Professional an
evaluation edition?
BDS 2006 Professional contains IntraWeb Page
Edition. Page mode is fully functional. BDS 2006 also allows for evaluation
of Application mode which is not part of the Page Edition.
Are there any royalties or runtime fees for
deploying an IntraWeb application?
No.
IntraWeb is licensed per developer only. There are no royalties or runtime
fees for deploying your applications built with IntraWeb. IntraWeb is licensed
in a manner similar to Delphi itself.
