It is not excuse for our own lack of up to date documentation, however Bob Swart has produced an excellent book about IntraWeb development and it is currently 170 pages. You can get it in electronic or paper back form. The electronic form comes with updates.

Many newsgroups are being made read only
The priority and public news servers contain dozens of IntraWeb newsgroups and has for many years. They are divided by language and categories. This however just makes it more difficult for support and users to find all the messages. Because of this we will be closing and making many of them read only in an effort to consolidate messages in fewer areas. We hope that this will make it easier for both users and support staff.

IntraWeb helps Potato Farmers
In April 2008, the Potato Council launched an on-line map-based system enabling the growers of England, Scotland and Wales to return details of their potato fields electronically. The intention was that this would gradually replace a paper-based system which currently involves sending out over 5000 maps to nearly 3000 growers.
The system is a web-based system written in Delphi (BDS 2006) using Intraweb and the TatukGIS Developer Kernel Toolkit (VCL edition). It was set up on a Windows 2003 web server, running under IIS. Five different scales of Ordnance Survey maps were utilised.

C++ in CDS 2007 issues
Recently I reported about some issues with the 9.0.42 install and C++ Builder 6 as well as workarounds. Now its C++ CDS 2007's turn. Again, they have easy workarounds, but we will be fixing this in a future build as well.
