We had, for some time, been hand crafting ISAPI applications to deliver web enabled applications to our customers. Then we came upon Intraweb, we have not looked back since.

We are a small software house writing applications in the property maintenance and management arena.  Our customers are mainly in the Local Government, Police, University and large housing providor sectors.

We were tasked to provide a helpdesk system to a large client in the UK.

The client has over 200 large buildings for which they have full maintenenace responsibility, these buildings are operated 24/7 and support and maintenance requests are placed round the clock.

Using Intraweb we created a client interface which firstly identifies the user, presents them with the list of buildings within their remit and allows them to record maintenance issues on the central property maintenance database.

For the client this has allowed the central maintenance function to be staffed by one person thereby dramatically reducing their costs.

The system is developed using Delphi 5 and Intraweb with a Sybase SQL anywhere database.
