IntraWeb Version 4

The features are too numerous to list, but here is a partial summary of what is new in IntraWeb 4.

Page Mode

IntraWeb 4 supports two modes of creating applications: Application Mode and Page Mode.

Using Page Mode you can integrate IntraWeb with Web Broker or Web Snap for ultimate flexibility.

Applciation mode allows for you to easily deploy applications, while page mode is better suited toward websites, or independent pages.

Dynamic Chart

The dynamic chart is a chart that is live in the browser and allows the user to customize it on the fly and even choose different data points, summarize, average, and more.

Apache DSO support

In addition to ISAPI, IntraWeb applications can now be deployed as Apache DSOs (Requires Delphi 6).

Region Component

The TIWRegion component allows grouping and nesting of controls. TIWRegion is similar to a TPanel.

TFrame support

TFrames can now be used to reuse sets of components on multiple forms in a RAD fashion.

OnHTMLTag event

OnHTMLTag allows for advanced post generation customization of the HTML output.

Rectangle component

TIWRectangle allows for basic shapes and colors to be easily created.

Macromedia Flash component

The Flash component allows for easy embedding of Flash animations into IntraWeb applications.

TeeChart Support

Steema Software (Makers of TeeChart) have produced a free TIWChart for use with both the free and Pro versions of TeeChart.

TMS Components for IntraWeb

TMS Components for IntraWeb features data-aware and non data-aware advanced edit controls, calendar controls, a date picker, various controls such as labels, radiogroups, lists, menus with HTML formatting capabilities.

Used-Disks IntraWeb Component Suite

Used-Disks, Inc - The Used-Disks IntraWeb Component Suite assists management and creation of custom client-side JavaScript, as well as other enhancements, for IntraWeb.
