Installation FAQ
The IntraWeb installer says I would need "Update Pack 3". Where do I
find this?
Delphi updates like Update 3 for Delphi 2005 can be found on Borland's
updates website.
I have problems installing my key. What should I do?
Please check the new Keys FAQ.
I have installed IntraWeb but I receive an error "procedure entry
point @???????@????$qqrv could not be located". The dialog is similar to
this:
![[Image]](images/FAQSystemCrispi.jpg)
This situation occurs when there are parts of a previous version of IntraWeb
still on you system and it is causing conflicts. To solve this problem perform
the following steps:
- Close all versions of Delphi
- Uninstall IntraWeb
- Search your complete file system for *intraweb*.bpl and *intraweb*.dcp -
Delete all versions of these files.
- Reinstall IntraWeb
When I compile my application with Delphi 6, I get an error message
saying: "InGlobal" was compiled with a different version of System.rtl.
You need to make sure you have Delphi 6 Update Pack 2 and RTL Update
Pack 2 installed. If you have already installed the Update
Pack previously, please re-install.
When I install IntraWeb I receive an error about not being able to
install into Delphi 5 but I have never installed Delphi 5 or have removed it
since then. What is wrong?
Another Delphi software vendor has a problem with their install that creates
a Delphi 5 registry key even if Delphi 5 is not installed. To fix the problem:
- Run regedit and remove this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\Borland\Delphi\5.0
- Run the IntraWeb install again.
How do I integrate the IntraWeb help files into Delphi 7 IDE?
IntraWeb help files will be available from the Delphi 7 IDE if they are added
to OpenHelp. Follow these steps to add the files to OpenHelp:
- Open the OpenHelp console from Help | Customize ... from the IDE's main
menu and add the IntraWeb help files into the Index tab. Define
links to the IntraWeb help files in the Links tab. A toc file for the
Content tab is not provided.
- Delete all the broken links from the Index and Links
tabs.
- Delete the D7.gid file (it will be re-created when you open the D7 help
next time)
