BasicsActivating InkerWhen initally started or
when inactive, Inker window is hidden and only the icon in the
system tray is visible. When possible Inker activates by tapping with
the pen on an editable field. If you need to activate it manually, just
tap the icon on the system tray. Inker differentiates pen and mouse
usage and becomes inactive when the mouse is moved over.
Inker responds to Win+I. Press and hold
the Windows key, while tapping the I key. This will minimize inker to
the system tray if it is currently shown, or activate Inker if it is
currently minimized to the system tray. Most tablets have programmable
buttons and assigning Win+I to one of your tablet's buttons will allow
you to more easily activate and deactivate Inker.

using corresponding buttons on the toolbar. Writing textYou
write with the pen in the writing area and your handwriting is
automatically recognized while you write and your writing gets replaced
with recognized text. Inker deliberately does not replace the word you
are currently writing to avoid confusing you. When you stop writing,
Inker replaces and the final word.
 Using the virtual keyboardYou
can use the virtual keyboard to send keystrokes directly to applications
or inline characters and symbols in the writing area.
This picture shows how you can inline the ® symbol in the writing area.
Inserting text in applicationsOnce
you are done writing, you can insert the text from the writing area at
the caret position in the active application window by tapping the

applications using appropriate buttons on the toolbar.Importing textYou
can import text from some applications by selecting the needed text and
if Inker is active with empty writing area, selected text will be
automatically imported. Then you can make needed corrections in Inker
and insert back the text in the application.
Making correctionsChanging capitalizationYou can capitalize or lowercase a word using up or down gesture directly on the word. Editing wordsIn order to edit a word just tap on it and the word will zoom. .
In
the zoom window you can write letters directly on green letter slots and
your writing will get recognized when you move the pen out of the letter slot.

You
can insert empty letter slots by tapping the left arrow or by making a
left or right side gesture in the green rectangles as shown on the
picture.

You can also use the following editing commands:
Alternate letters

Upper case
Several correction gestures are supported to easily correct
individual letters. To perform a gesture, place the pen down near the
center of the letter, then drag out of the letter in a straight line.

then drag pen up and out fo the letter box before lifting the pen. - Up - Change letter to upper case.
- Down - Change letter to lower case.
- Right
- Insert space to right. This allows you to insert a new space which
you can either leave as a space or write into to add a new letter.
