Filter / Kill files - Most news readers have this ability, but many of them are very limited. Expand the power by using ELK News' filtering and kill file abilities.
Two pass system with selector - Increase your efficiency with a intelligent true two pass reading and selection system.
Post Watching - Have busy news groups that you occasionally post to and only care about replies to your posts? Create a post watch and ELK News will mark each post you make and only download threads that contain your posts. All other messages will be ignored.
Priority Groups - Have some groups that you read once a day, but others that you need to monitor more frequently? Such groups might be support groups for your company, or groups that you are more interested in. Use ELK News to provide priority notifications. ELK News will watch these groups and alert you with a sound and an icon in the system tray when new messages in these groups are available.
