Conversions

If you are upgrading from 1.0.17 to 1.1 you must use the conversion utility first. To convert:

1. Download the conversion utility from 1.0.17 to 1.1.
2. Make sure ELK News is stopped and not running.
3. Backup your data directory.
4. Execute the conversion utility - warning, this will take a long time if your data directory is big.
5. Install the new version of ELK News over top of the old one.

If you are upgrading from a version prior to 1.0.17 you must use the conversion utility first. To convert:

1. Download the conversion utility.
2. Make sure ELK News is stopped and not running.
3. Backup your data directory.
4. Extract the conversion utility into the Elk News directory.
5. Execute the conversion utility.
6. Install the new version of ELK News over top of the old one.

Other downloads

• SSL Libraries - If you plan to use the SSL features of ELK News, you will need to install the SSL libraries. ELK News is built using Indy. To use the SSL features of ELK News, you need to simply install Indy's requires SSL libraries. Please note that ELK News itself does not provide ANY SSL support. SSL support is done via Indy and the libraries are not distributed or maintained by Atozed Software.
