Content Management

There are several requirements that an web content management tool must be compliant with:

  • must allow adding, editing and deteling content within a website in real-time
  • content changes must keep up with the website general style and appearance (this is usualy done through the use of templates)
  • adherence to existing technology standards
  • incorporate website structure management
  • make content available on other devices - PDAs, WAP

Do you need to find a tool that will handle all the situations above for a built with IntraWeb website? Do not be, Intraweb does the management for you. How is that?
There is no need for writing or even knowing HTML or Javascript to create and manage an website with IntraWeb. Editing text, images , logos etc is done through the use of the IntraWeb components and in most of the cases, editing a content piece of the website means editing few properties of the IntraWeb controls in the designer. The general style and appearance of an website can be obtained through the use of style sheets, templates and layout managers. An IntraWeb application can even be skinnable through the use of templates. IntraWeb generates web pages that comply with the HTML standards and the JavaScript standards. The website structure is established through the structure of the apllication, as well as the devices the application will be available on.
