While running in stand alone mode you can turn on debug output to see sessions created, destroyed, and HTTP requests. You can turn on debug output you can select "Show Debug Information" from the file menu, or depress the tool bar button that has an icon of the spectacles. This is a screen shot with the debug tool bar button depressed, and debug output information from one user session:

The Standalone application also serves for providing debug information. The Debug Output option allows you to view all the requests for new sessions, files, closing of existing connections etc.
