IntraWeb Borland Edition also contains page mode for creating individual interactive pages for use within larger web site. Page mode is only available for Delphi (up to version 7), C++ Builder, and Kylix. IntraWeb page mode is designed to fill the needs of users rendering individual pages who do not have access to ASP.net.
Page Mode however is not suited for all web site tasks, and in some cases, ASP.net, PHP and others are much better suited, while IntraWeb page mode excels in other circumstances. However those solutions can also be used in conjunction with Page Mode. Page Mode is ideal for creating highly interactive and complicated reports, input forms, charts and more. If a specific page is highly interactive or dynamic, and that is its main function, but it is not part of a weblication, Page Mode is a good candidate.
With Page Mode, IntraWeb is no longer the framework but merely an add on to the framework of your choice. Because of this page mode is more flexible than application mode but requires that more work be done by the developer. Page mode allows for full integration with Webbroker, WebSnap and others. If you have developed using Webbroker, WebSnap, or others, you will feel right at home with Page Mode.
